Just under two weeks until we leave! We are so excited for what God has in store for us as we continue to pray and prepare for this trip. For those of you who may not know much about our trip here it is in a nutshell...

This past fall Jake Ray, Michael Lucas, and I felt called to go on an international mission trip for an extended period of time, so our missions pastor, Derek Futrell, started working with us on how we could do this. Through some contacts in our church and with the IMB we were able to hook up with a program called Fusion Impact, which gives students the opportunity to receive a week of intense spiritual, physical, and mental training before being deployed to go on a seven week overseas mission trip. A perfect fit for three sixteen year old boys. So on June the 8th the three of us will fly out to Kansas City and begin our training, then on June 13th we will be sent to a country in South Asia with a Fusion advocate to share the story of Christ with many people who may have never heard the name Jesus uttered before.

Pretty exciting stuff for three young men! June 8th can't seem to get here fast enough, as all three of us are pushing though the last couple weeks of school, finals, and sports. Several things are starting to pile up for all of us these last couple weeks, so please pray for us to keep our priorities straight and finish strong in everything we do before we leave. Also pray for finances as we are still in need of quite a bit of money. The excitement and anticipation for this is overwhelming! We are so thrilled to see what God has planned for us!
